Hi all,

I just wanted to let you all know how much I enjoy reading this thread; to my knowledge I've never met any of you but I appreciate how level headed most people are on here (most being the key word!).

I've learnt a lot and I appreciate the updates on my team; I've always been a saints supporter but I have a young family in Christchurch (mortgage, bills, keeping my head above water!) so games are few and far between to get too these days. I can't justify the cost of it at the moment.

Basically this is a nice community to be a part of.
Anyway, it's been discussed on other posts but for the last few weeks I can't access this website on Data (I'm on Android) on WiFi thankfully I can. I've reset my phone, changed a load of network settings but I'm still having no joy... Usually I can wait until I'm home but with James Bree thinking his surname was Bond for a couple of days, I was quite hooked today whilst at Paultons Park!

Any clever people out there have any idea?

Up the Saints!

Thanks @Libby <ok>

I have been made aware this week there is an issue on accessing the site on data.

I've tried accessing the site on my Android by turning the wi-fi off, and I can access it fine - I'm in a poor signal area as well.

I also tried accessing the site with the VPN on and off, and it worked fine - so at this moment in time, I'm not sure what's causing the issue.

I will drop a message to the site owner tomorrow and see if he can identify the problem and a fix.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Odd.. I couldn't access it on VPN either. Or a different browser (I tried using Brave).

I will try and contact EE incase they've done any changes to my internet settings or something.

I use Google Chrome on a Pixel 8a with Nord. Tested without Wi-Fi on giffgaff so O2. I haven't added any extensions to it, but it blocks me from reading my local paper as it says it has an ad blocker, but I suspect that is more to do with my VPN being on. Although I also use a laptop.

Btw, you are not the only one who has reported this problem this week.

I have the issue on 4G and WiFi using iPhone 16. It is constant, every day, all day. Usually take 3-5 attempts to get in.

Also very occasionally have an issue on my iMac but that is more infrequent.

All issues only commenced after the outage the other week.

I had a problem getting in the site for about an hour a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t do anything but everything has been working fine since. I use a dated iPad on basic Plusnet Wi-Fi. Also use basic android phone on Giff Gaff with no bother.

My problem is only on my iPhone 17PM. Normally if I am transitioning from WiFi to cellular or if my phone is roaming between my access points. A couple of page refreshes and it comes back.

On WiFi I have AdGuard on my whole network, so that sometimes causes issues with some sites, but as I said a refresh will bring it back.

I messaged @brb earlier in the week about this. It's very odd, I have no issues accessing the site using my Android either.

The only time I have an issue accessing any site is when my VPN is on.

My speed isn't very good where I live, mostly my own fault because I refuse to allow them in my house to start drilling holes to upgrade the cabling.

So if I get that problem I pause the VPN, then unpause it once access has been gained, I also get that happen on sites such as the BBC.

I had a message the other week, someone couldn't get on, I said pause your VPN, they did and they got on.

When I read the comments I'm not seeing a consistent theme, certainly not something a VPN pause or a F5 refresh wouldn't resolve as has been commented.

The site was down a week ago, so that would magnify problems.

I can report users are having trouble accessing the site via phone, but the owner will probably do what I've done and say it's fine lol.

Other than that he'll get his hammer out, and I really don't want him doing that, remembering it's the boss that gave us this pile of poop. Only joking.

But IF people really want me to raise it, then I'll go open the pandoras box.

I’ve been getting the error multiple times daily since the site went down a couple of weeks ago. Only use my IPhone to access the site, error comes up on both WiFi and 5G

There is absolutely definitely an issue since that outage. Nothing to do with vpns etc. i have used this site solely on iPhone since the year dot. Now on my home wifi I get the constant reload/refresh issues to be able to use the site. It’s more than an irritation now.

Might be way off but have people reset cache on browser?
That's the first thing I tried - no difference, still happening. Like others I have to refresh every time I use the site and 50% of the time I have to do it twice.

On my iPhone I've tried Firefox, Safari and Chrome. Happening on all of them. I have to say, its not the end of the world but it is irritating. Like others (and I) have said, it has only started happening since the site went down a couple of weeks ago.

Just not at 8pm on Tuesday though lol

Right going to watch Rangers get a draw against Celtic now, so Hearts can will the league, just don't let the boss see this though because he's a Celtic fan.
Imagine the meltdown!
