Religion is just so wrong on every level. Where does people's right stop? I see religion as something that causes conflicts, it historically plays a major part in wars, past and present. You say people can do as they wish, fair enough. Why can't then Mr Joe Bloggs abuse his daughter? Yes it's close to the bone and hopefully nobody on here would agree with it, but it is his right. Joe Bloggs wouldn't be able to do it because we all know its wrong and the world has moved on from that. Many thousands of years ago, people might not have batted an eye lid at it. Thankfully though the world has moved on. Now we just need everybody else to catch up, with realising religion is so full of **** and we would be better off without. Believing in a man in the sky and somebody walking over water. **** off man it's pathetic and deserves to be ridiculed and shame on the people defending it.
Money causes conflict, should that be abolished? Religion itself should not be ridiculed, except the idiots that cause stuff such as war in the name should be ridiculed. You're being unbelievably disrespectful and one thing I cannot stand is the disrespect of someone's views. I personally am at somewhat of a crossroads in my religious views. But nevertheless what you're saying is very offensive. I will never ridicule someone's faith. That for me is completely unacceptable. I don't care what anyone's religious views are I will always respect their view. Consider that people base their WHOLE LIVES around their beliefs and you're being so disrespectful. Shame on you

I never believed in spiderman it's a comic book man and the key difference is that people don't worship spiderman nor do the feel strongly about spiderman. Obviously you're a very strong atheist and I honestly don't care, and I will never mock atheism. Maybe you should grow up and learn to respect other people's views. That's me done. If the Human race went extinct tomorrow and all that remained was Forbidden planet and in the distant future something else evolved, they very well may believe Superman/Marvel etc was true and that is what we were like. (and thinking I wish we had those powers, or even primitive powers lol) The Bible for me is not meant to be taking literally, its full of Morals and rights and wrongs, sacrificing things for the benefit of others. I was brought up a catholic but i am probably more an aethiest these days, but i dont know what to believe and I am 41. You believe what you believe and as long as no one pushes their belief in my face, let them get on with it. and politics/religion never end well on a forum.
Only because they are brainwashed into believing something which doesn't stand up to any logical or scientific scrutiny. I've nothing against anyone believing that a superiour being or 'God' may exist, but I find it difficult to comprehend that people use books 'that have been written, adapted and changed many times over the centuries as a basis for their said beliefs. PS..I don't think that Jones is Muslim, and believe that he is actually a practising Christian..
It seems I'm not alone in thinking that religion is an anachronism. At the same time, I cannot believe people defending the actions against wor Kenny - irrespective of his personal views it was a disrespectful and insulting prank. Even as an athiest, I would not tolerate something like this if it happened to me.
