Condemend to hell?? bit OTT

they dont eat it because its not Halal IE it has split hooves but it doesnt chew its cud like a cow does (same as Kosher in Judism), cows are fine as they are halal pigs are not,, but i have never heard of them going to hell if they even so much as touch it.

As for alcohol it blurs the mind, hence why its banned in their religion. (and Ribery went OTT with that as well)

but saying all that Jones went to a catholic school in T&T only 6% of T&T are muslim not saying he is not muslim but the chances are slim that he is. If he is and they knew he is then yes its a bit close to the knuckle, sackble offence prob not,, and Jones went way OTT imho.

Religion is a freedom to believe in what you want and people should respect that

I've said my piece, I'm certainly not backing down because I believe I'm right.

I'm not saying anything else though because I've seen how these things roll out and it's never ending.

What about my freedom, to think and say what I want?

You are doing exactly what you're saying I'm doing wrong.

You're entitled to your opinion and your freedom just like were entitled to our freedom and our opinion to say we think your wrong. You believe you should retain your freedom whilst taking someone else's. That's quite a bit different to what we're saying. You can't have it both ways.

Didn't want to reply but that's completely wrong!

I don't want it both ways, you have taken that different to what I was saying.

I was just saying don't have a go at my thoughts because its very hypocritical when yous are defending freedom.

I'm happy for yous to say religion should be respected, if that's what you believe.

I think religion should be illegal and the world should move on from childish stories, it's actually pathetic.

Do you just make stuff up in your mind and then argue about it?

    That's what's happening here.

That's ridiculous. Surely you're not comparing religion to cannibalism?

“One must state it plainly. Religion comes from the period of human prehistory where nobody—not even the mighty Democritus who concluded that all matter was made from atoms—had the smallest idea what was going on. It comes from the bawling and fearful infancy of our species, and is a babyish attempt to meet our inescapable demand for knowledge (as well as for comfort, reassurance and other infantile needs). Today the least educated of my children knows much more about the natural order than any of the founders of religion, and one would like to think—though the connection is not a fully demonstrable one—that this is why they seem so uninterested in sending fellow humans to hell.” ― Christopher Hitchens, God is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything

    Sums it up for me
