Like I said earlier... It's unbelievable, yet utterly believable. They're an utter disaster.

Well well well. You'd need a heart of stone not to be happy for the Haas team.

It's nice to call it pole but it's not going to go down as pole in the record books.

It's going to be interesting to see how many people pass him and where he actually starts on Sunday.

Bit of a shame that he doesn't get a stat in the record books tbh.

I thought there was a discussion last year about the fastest lap in quali being awarded 'pole' in the record books from this year? Isn't that the reason KMag signed the Pirelli tyre with Massa?
    Maybe just my wishful thinking?

It would be great to have Haas and KMag in the record books.

On a sprint weekend what is the point of fp2?
As quali has happened they are in Parc ferme conditions so no changes allowed.
Other than a couple of sighter laps or maybe a race run I'm not sure it's that worth it?

Ocon squeezed him a bit, and he seemed to lose it on kerbs and slide into Ocon. Unlike Fernando to keep going on about it afterwards!

I don't think occon gave his team mate enough room but it looked like Alonso clipped his own front wing on occons rear tyre on the straight causing more wing damage!

Ocon was night first time. He clearly pushed alonso off. Second was alonso getting too close.

Stroll though. That's very naughty and should be a penalty. Do that to any other car and test team would be on the phone to race control moaning for a pen.

How long are George's tyres going to hold out? I hope to the end.

    Good battle there.

Clearly shows the deficit in speed of merc there.

Russell should have sailed by somewhere there.

Verstappen is just on the edge of ok.
