The implication that all the Celtic fans on here were somehow trying to prove that any statement from Hearts was a lie. Just thought if that was the case I'd lump your opinion in with that of Medro. Therefore all the Huns on here believe that Hearts only speak the gospel truth and Romanov has been pilloried as a liar when he's actually an unsung prophet.
Timmy logic. Right there. All assumptions and **** all else. Take what Hearts said up with Hearts and/or their administrators. They're the only ****s that know.
Medro logic. Anything that might make Rangers look remotely less incompetent and negligent is automatically true.
Hearts vs Rangers games were usually one of their highest gates of the season. Did Hearts vs Dundee get simialr gate numbers and similar TV coverage? No. That's pretty clear to see. Their attendances for home games dropped as we left the SPL. But that must be a coincidence
Isn't the share of TV money paid out in advance regardless of who's playing who on SKY/ESPN? X amount shared by 12 SPL teams. So, unless I'm wrong, Hearts will have got the same amount from Sky/ESPN regardless of the Rangers situation.
They got more, or at least were due to get more starting next season - remember the re-negotiation last year? They had 11 league games broadcast live last season plus their league cup run including the final (live on BBC and Sky) and at least both of their games against Liverpool were televised. Dunno how many they had the previous season. They got an extra windfall payment from UEFA, their cut of the overall share of TV money was up, the net amount of that was (depending on appearances) I suspect up on the previous season (don't know previous season) - but, naw, they're going bust because the Huns don't go there twice a year (once quite famously in 2008)
That's also not taking into account the extra £150k every team in the SPL got for Celtic making the Champions League.
And like I said total home attendances for 2011/12 was 310,076. Total home attendances for 2012/13 was 272,386. The 11/12 season saw them play televised games against Spurs not to mention their Scottish Cup run and win. But no Rangers dropping out of the SPL had no impact
How the **** should I know, I'm not that interested. I just remember that the other 11 teams in the league got an extra £150k because Celtic make the group stages.
Huns are dead. Hearts are dying. Medro's malignant lumps are spreading and offsetting secondary cancers. All in all, it's looking good
As far as I am aware they are due to get approx £150k each this summer although the exact figures have not been confirmed.
