    if we fail to qualify for the champs league then I would wager that lawell re opens the dialogue and they are granted what they want.

    I also think this is the year lawell will ensure the first ever celtic v the rangers game.

    whilst speaking about lawell, it's about time the unseen fenian hand pulls a few strings and gets mackay out of the pickle that he is in

    Is that what they are then, "Friends"?

    <confused>

    There was me thinking they were a self-appointed gang of malcontents whose only shared interests are "Politics", "Rabble Rousing" and "Football" in that order.

    I can just see me applying for a season ticket at Parkhead and saying that I wanted to sit with 3 or 4 hundred of my "Friends" otherwise I won't bother.

    See, you were wrong

    Celtic obviously did give this group their own section for many years and new friends joined. Maybe if you showed the same commitment to Celtic as the GB do they'd give you your own section too.

    You forgot "charity"

    "Commitment to Celtic".

    <laugh>

    I've never gotten Celtic in trouble, that's my commitment.

    Well at least you are admitting they are acting like petulant children. It's a start.

    What I find weird is RFC fans utterly obsessing with the Green Brigade , and praying for IRA chanting when, such as Saturday, there is none.

    A comment or tweet from over two years before the aforementioned article, that also focuses on one match.

    He wrote an article along the same lines but I'm not paying for the info from the herald, dealt with several games and although some republican songs were sung by GB, in the most part they weren't

    You have clearly taken what Spiers was saying out of context - it is rather obvious he is meaning that on occasions when these songs are not being sung rangers supporters are hoping they will be in order to embarrass Celtic or get them in bother with the authorities. He is patently not saying they dont sing those songs.

    But you already knew that.

    Speirs is a hypocritical toad.

    Seriously though, who gives a **** about the Groin Brigade or their futile proxy war.

    Football fans are thick as ****.
