I feel deeply sorry for you Argyle fans - I have much affection for your club - you were never going to be premier material but you were always a good honest club in the second tier. A word of warning - look at the Risdale record everywhere he,s been in football. But judgement follows him like the plague.
If you look at one of those reports Plymborn it was dated today. Thank you for your kind words Saintsalive but if what I've heard is correct Brent has been told we wont get the golden share while (in joke I'm not allowed to mention his name) is involved, so I dont think he will be anywhere near Argyle if Brent buys us. Rumour has it has been looking for a job elsewhere !
Perhaps it's just me but I've never been able to relate to gossip and rumour. I just don't see the point in the what if or maybe when the actual story will unfold and everyone will know the outcome. I suppose the attraction is for somebody to get in early and actually predict an outcome somewhere near the truth to be able to say you heard it here first. It infuriates my Mrs when I don't do the "if this happens we will do that and if that happens then we will do this" thing. She has long conversations,mostly without me listening after a few minutes about "what ifs" and I just say wait and see and when we know we can decide on whatever it is. I then get accused of not caring but that is far from the truth and unfair. I care very much what happens to Argyle in this case but no matter how many maybes there are it won't change what happens and I have not the faintest idea what it will be. I've said before that everyone is bigging up Brent probable because they are praying for anyone but Heaney as he has been cast as the Devil himself on every site going. But, Brent may not yet be able to bring a deal together and he has hinted at that if the quotes he has made are correct and factual. What are the details of that deal? Anyone know? Just because he doesn't sound like Heaney does not mean he isn't a wolf in waiting does it. Time will both tell if he can pull off a deal and how it pans out for us after the event. I just hope he is the lovely chappy we have all been made to believe he is.

I still think in the short term Gat he has got something to offer if James Brent does proceed with a buy out. Football management needs experience,and Brent does need that sought of help initially,and your friend can bring that to the party. However what is in it for "him that can't be named" ? No 2 at someone elses party doesn't fit "that mans" image,but if he hasn't got anything else in the pipeline at present, as a short term "favour" he might help out,say to maybe end of the year ! I still maintain that he has helped Argyle when the directors/idiots were completely out of control, and he (who shall not be named) recognized the plane crash that was PAFC and brought some sanity back to the situation. He did get Argyle set-up for the new seasons kick-off, and cannot be blamed for what has happened since. That is down To Heaney and also to the man who was supposed to be experienced in this field Guilfoyle. If Heaney has gone (has he actually said it yet ? ) then I think his whole business approach to buying PAFC needs to be scrutinized, and appropiate action taken against him,far exceeding the £300.000 that he paid for a exclusivity deal. Also does the Irish connection actually exist,can he prove it ? What would the Football League do to him if he was found to be fibbing about that ?. Being involved in two clubs whatever the devious way he organized it is illegal, and are the FL man enough to do something about it. Finally...........Gat close your eyes..........you know the rest..............etc etc etc.

Gat you might be allowed to get excited if...............Truro.........have you heard any rumours about their financial state at present......and the players keeping quiet about it ??? That might convince me that Heaney as gone.
Hiya Plymborn on Pasoti last night someone mentioned that they had some news regarding Truro City but it was in the middle of another thread so he said he would leave it until later ..... I do know that some players haven't been paid bonus's etc .... and I also know that the solictors are still sueing him for the money for the work that they did with his bid ! I suppose all will be revealed in the fullness of time !
Plymborn I've heard that the person who loaned the 300k to Heaney wants it back sooner rather than later lol
Heaney should be quite good at fending them off for what..............5 months or so............or when I can find a buyer for Truro.
