Why move on Oli? He, Garcia and McShane should be used to finish the season push! Except for mention of Butterfield, all that seems to be discussed is consolidating existing loan players - surely we need a goalscorer and some midfield balls? Will money be made available for this? It sounds like it!
I was making that up by the way. But I just don't understand agents, surely the player should have to pay for them and not the club. If I was running a club I'd tell an agent to **** right off, why should we have to pay them, it's the client who benefits they should make the sacrifice. It would be interesting to see man citys agent fees oveelr the last few years
i am not saying do it or it will happen. BUT......dave jones likes Oli and vice versa. so if dave jones gets the bristol city job i can see jones coming in for oli and if oli wants to go then lets get something back for him. city could also throw in simpson and harper. Maynard is out of contract in the summer and i am not sure he wants to stay there anymore. but yes other than this i would also like to at least see what Oli can do for us.
GK: Basso, Gulcasi, Oxley RB: Rosenior New RB CB: Chester, Hobbs, McShane (get Cooper back from Loan) or sign a young centre half that can provide cover for now LB: Dudgeon, Dawson RM: Stewart, Koren LM: Brady, Barmby, Koren CM: Cairney, Mckenna, Evans, Harper, Koren, young lad to provide cover/play the odd games if injuries ST: Fryatt, McLean, Simpson, new striker Basically, i'd try to fill out the squad a bit. Rosenior will get injured sometime so a right back would be nice so we don't have to play McShane there. A promising centre half from one of the big boys as cover would be nice, although personally i'd like to see Cooper back as cover. Another body in the midfield seeing as we are playing 2 there, although I do think we have the quality there and probably enough when it comes to it. Another lad that can play on the left, if Brady is injured. Another striker, Rhodes from Hudders would be nice, maybe even the Novak lad who is scoring goals this season. This is providing we don't sign Waghorn.
That would be the Danns that played really well in the demolition of Derby and is keeping Wellens out of the side then.
maynard.....yeah right....hahahahahaha.......is adebayor available in jan on a permanent? i think we are getting carried away here.
I don't see why he wouldn't let us buy Brady if the price was right, Man U are overloaded with wingers and Brady is way down the pecking order. What a brilliant transfer that would be lets hope thats top of the list.
Hope Waghorn will be top of the list, very impressed! Waggy on a permanent and Brady on loan till the end of season will do me just fine
did not impress me. derby were very poor and the defending was not even up to sunday league standard. danns will have to do alot more for me to change my views on his value.
there is a massive difference between both of them. Maynard is very affordable. Citys squad may need some tweaking but thats all. like ive been saying, alot will depend on who the next manager @ bristol city is.
Waggy is great, was posting on here just before he came whilst watching the u-21's, this guy is a Prem player of the future like Chester and a few others. Great times to be a City fan with these kind of lads in the squad and hope we get Waggy too. Hope he bags another for the u-21's aswell
rightly or wrongly, have you seen how much Bristol City value maynard at? He will go to the prem for around £3 million
Hopefully we will have the edge if these players become available as I would think they are enjoying their football in Hull
Agreed WestHullTiger, these kids are getting a chance to play and are valuing it, such a difference from not long ago when we had so many mercenaries here for the cash- things are done right now
