Can't say I'm bothered by looks as I'm ugly myself, but shared interests never get boring, and that keeps the magic.
She once said she preferred men who didn't spend every dying minute on a football forum...that's all of us f**ked then!
The nauseous self pity surrounding Virgil van Djik makes me want to puke He’s put out the most laughably self important and self pitying statement possible, saying that with the support of God and his family he will get through this He’s got a f ucking ACL injury, but to listen to him you would think his entire family have been struck down by Covid and are now forced to survive on Universal Credit. He’s on £200,000 a week. If ever there was example of how pampered and out of touch footballers have become, then this is it Man up, and get your head out of your arse, you big Jessie.
I thought his full statement was quite positive. For a pro footballer to lose a full season out of his career is no small matter, even if he's stinking rich.
Man have you nailed this! Lets give over the Covid beds to their stress ridden fans as this "poor me" disease is bound to spread throughout the city.
Jordan Pickford won't face any retrospective action over his crippling assault on Van Dijk; https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54601721 That'll make the Liverpool defender feel better as he waits for surgery. Pickford's head has truly gone. He's out of control...
Schumacker similarly got off scot-free for his GBH tackle which put the Frenchman in hospital. The referee didn't give a penalty then, either, or a card, and Germany came back from 3-1 down to win the game. Who said crime doesn't pay?
This one incident of injustice has never left me, neither you I see. Those were the days when the referees decision was final, and we innocently thought that VAR would change that. Form man made controversy to machine made controversy. I share your pain.
The rules and the integrity of the game will be ridiculed if horror assaults like Pickford's go unpunished. Was he let off because an off-side decision was made a couple of seconds earlier? If that is the case then there is a glaring hole in the laws of the game. OK, no penalty could be awarded if play was technically stopped. But Pickford should still have been sent off. I cannot believe all the officials saw what he did but decided no action was necessary. Players - even goalkeepers - cannot launch crazy attacks on other players and get off on technicalities. If I was in charge of the rules I'd change them to state that if a player injures another player with what is deemed to be a foul, the offending player does not play competitive football again until the injured player has recovered enough to be selected for a match-day squad. The prospect of being out for six months or longer might temper the recklessness of a few idiots.
Must highlight the intellectual equivalent of a Head's Gone - The PAP Award (Pompous Academic Prat). Today's PAP award goes to Professor John Ferris of the University of Calgary - that's in Alberta, Canada. He's written a definitive book on Bletchley Park (out just in time for Crimbo) in which he claims Bletchley Park is "not the War-winner that a lot of Brits think it is". And further claims there is a 'Cult of Bletchley' which has protected GCHQ in modern times. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-54604895 However, Professor Piehead also achnowledges that the work done at Bletchley Park shortened WW2 by between 2 and 4 years (plenty long enough for the Nazis to have put a nuclear warhead on their V2 rockets) and that without Bletchley Park the Allies might not have won the War at all. If that is the case, how can he claim Bletchley Park was not a "War-winner"? Silly old bugger.

I can't agree with that @lardiman I am amazed that the ref and the video ref could not see that it was a dangerous and reckless challenge. What the authorities should have done is ban Pickford for six matches.
I suppose the rule that you cannot ban him if the ref saw it is supposed to back up the authority of the ref. They should admit that refs occasionally make howlers.
Heads Gone (almost, along with all their other boy parts) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-york-north-yorkshire-54612122 The couple having wedding photos taken on a RAILWAY LINE When I saw this I could not believe it. Surely it was a disused line? The brightness of the rails indicates not though. I suppose they'd have some excuse, like it was a quiet branch line with only two trains per day on it, or some such nonsense. I hope they are prosecuted. And the dopey cameraman as well. Twats.
Blimey, there really is no justice. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-54614812 Bloke kills his front seat passenger & critically injures two in the back when he ploughs his BMW into a tree. After the crash he is the only one still conscious. So he gets out of the drivers' seat and puts one of his badly injured passengers into it. The Judge tells this guy at great length what an evil git he is, then sentences him to Four and a half years in prison, for causing death by dangerous driving. The maximum sentence for this offence? Fourteen years. What do you have to do to get the maximum sentence? Slaughter a bus queue of 50 people? Unbelievable M'Lud.
He probably shed a couple of tears of remorse Lardy , disgusting to try and frame an injured mate - scum of the earth
