He's a gobshite who started blaming fans who watched matches in the pubs because he wasn't doing a very good job of attracting them to the club. As a commentator/pundit, he's the bare minimum of what's acceptable, he didn't save my club, so why would I have anything nice to say about him? I'm glad he saved yours though, you're a decent sized club and you've never really been too irresponsible, on a Leeds level, so it'd have been a shame to see your club go bump, although the finances still seem to be a problem.
Quinn might not of been the best chairman but we wouldn't be at the level we are now without him. Whatever your thoughts of the way he handled the job it was still a net positive effect and we haven't had many who have done that. As a man then he sits on the top shelf.......well apart from some slightly embarrassing commentating sometimes!
Fair enough. I don't hero worship him myself. Don't hero worship anyone in the footballing world to be honest.
Bruce is an average manager, strangely loved by the media imo. He was able to build a canny team then when he tried to improve it, he ruined it. Like all the other poor and average managers.
I always wonder when I see his face, why does Bruce have the face of a terrible, terrible boxer. I can imagine him getting his nose broken once or twice in the line of duty but it's not like he was literally getting beaten to a pulp every match. Is it?
Strangely never got a full England cap. Sure i remember that one season he got 16 or 18 goals. Pretty mental stat for a defender.
