Anyone who believes that moronic cockbag deserves everything they get. He's not learnt lessons and it's all bollocks, more lies...more of the same next season... Don't be fooled...Don't renew season tickets!

Also he considers getting 4th place winning something? What trophy do you get for 4th again??

In profit n loss terms, a fookin massive trophy. Ask Wenger.

what he should of said ..was firstly sorry ..I have let yous all down in the pursuit of greed .
I am now going to sack that bauldy useless **** .. then hire the right manager , cost is no problem and invest massively on new players ,,and clear oot all the ****e etc including the medical staff ... we will try are best to win things for years to come ...and the cost will have no issues at all ...please accept that I have betrayed your trust and will promise 100 per cent that this club will go forward lol .. signed fat ****

It follows that any team capable of competing for a champions league spot should be more than capable of winning a domestic trophy. The two should go hand in hand.

Not that I believe Ashley, like.

I'm not a season ticket holder and living in essex atm I won't be for the foreseeable future,

But having said that, he conducted himself fairly well in the interview, a part of me thinks this should have all been done 8 years ago, but after all is said and done, if he means it, then he should get the majority on side by
A. A new manager, of quality, Juergen Koop would be immense
B. Decent signing, a real spend thrust and injection on quality players
C. Stop treating NUFC as a subsidiary of sports direct.

If he doesn't do this immediately then fans will know and next year St tickets will drop like a stone

It's too late Mike. This is just spiel because you're running scared; you have seen the power the fans have, the power they have to stop your pockets being so beautifully and fullsomely lined as you have been used to.

For those wanting to give Ashley the benefit of the doubt, remember that this is the man that renamed St James Park after his own company.

Get out of our Club.

I won't buy the shirt and even though I've gone to 10 odd games this season I won't next, unless I feel that I will be entertained if I go. I'm not paying to watch **** just coz its Nufc

The fat one has spoken !

http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/9863247/ashley-i8217m-not-going-anywhere

Looks like he's here to stay for a while. I guess the time between now and when the next ball is kicked in the premiership I'll tell us just how serious he is about winning something.
I hate him more then most but credit where it's due finally he has spoken to the public and just maybe he is serious about investing only time will
I think the rangers dream going sour has changed his priorities

Come on then, give me a list of English Champions League qualifying teams who haven't won trophies in the Premiership era. I'll start you off, Newcastle, Leeds United...

You know what lads and lasses? Only time will tell.

I won't spend another penny on tickets or merchandise until the fat man makes massive changes at SJP.

Everton?

he has held his hands up so fair play.
Now over to you Mike.
Unfortunately he has confirmed that it is actually now over to Penfold. I think Charnley needs to go as well to start afresh. I just don't have any confidence in the bloke. Ashley doesn't seem to have learned that he needs to stop empowering stupid people/promoting people beyond their level of competence. Beyond that, what I haven't heard yet is a sincere apology. I think that is important as a starting point for re-building bridges between the fans and the club.

Overall, though, I think Ashley has done himself a huge favour mustering up the balls to stand in front of a camera and interviewer and answer some questions (not before time), although the interview sounded quite contrived to me with the interviewer straight in with followup questions as if he knew the answers and the questions themselves seeming very leading, as if everything was spoken about beforehand. I don't think it's good enough for this to be a one off, though, as the rebuilding process (if he is indeed trying to initiate one) will take quite a long time. I think what has brought him out today is frankly that his name is mud right now and, although he'd rather not be on TV giving interviews, his pride is hurt and he wants to try and fight back - it can't be nice having Carragher, Shearer, et al slag you off in public every week.
