we are in an age now where there is a big changes going on … tight windows for transfers and loans mean players only get 2 chances to move! 4 months apart! there is many ways the option can work.... a player is signed for 3 years plus an option = 4 years and is on £10k a week after 3 years he doesn't fit so club either sells or cut their losses and he is a free agent... or take up option and sell or re negotiate and ………...
