And how big were the bids for those players? Stewart might get a place in our first team if we player with wingers, but overall I'd rate Marshall, King, Drinkwater, Danns higher. If Wellens can get back to form add him too, and James if he lives up to his promise.

Koren would probably start a few games, but his age would go against him. I'd only play him ahead of King if he is still off form. I really wouldn't say either of them would be guaranteed starters.

Chester was nothing more than rumours which we've played up for our own amusement.

 

I think there was interest in Chester that much was clear but i dont think Nigel thought he was going to get him so he never really bothered trying. As for Koren Hull cant do anything to stop us now but I think had we genuinely wanted him we would have signed him by now

I would rather Gallagher, Marshall and Dyer over Stewart

 

When Stewart is on his day, he is better than Gallagher and Dyer, but not Marshall
