Yes it is! I remember reading that But it also means that basically Real havent made an offer yet he needs to play rubbish now, which wont happen as he gives everything for his country. Shame some of ours dont Hopefully some others will play better and Real and whoever else will turn their attentions to them
I would hope next time when he scores 3 v Italy he says that ones for all you mancy swine to chew on That might be going too far at that point but hey....
Only if we don't get tired of uir being silly. The reality is that Italy and Costa Rica might play out a draw on the theory that's enough and uraguay might do the same who knows Italy with 9 points and all the rest on 3 is the only event that qualifies us so right now all we can say is Italy need to win v Costa Rica to ensure they go through 3-0?
Would be great to see a smaller, unheralded team win the WC for once (or at least make the final) to make a change from the usual. It just gets boring when the traditional powers dominate. Uruguay have got history with the competition, they've got Suarez plus a couple of other handy players so it would be cool to see them play well as a team augmented with Luis' talent and do some damage. But I'd just as soon see a team like South Korea go far again like they did in 2006, really got into that as they were total underdogs all the time.
Our national coach is a blubbering idiot... No one should pay attention to what he says... especially our rivals. I'd argue that he knows less than that.
I'll be very surprised if he's in a Liverpool shirt next season. I'm preparing myself for the worst but it's hard to hate him no matter how much of a **** he is.
I hope he's in a Liverpool shirt on August 2nd! I'd hate for him to leave Liverpool before I got a chance to see him play for us live. (probably resting on Aug 2nd though... and only lesser players make the match).
When you read the crap in the media then i don't blame suarez one bit....He can back up his statements..
Nothing wrong with his goals or celebrations. Many England fans will take exception to his gloating post match. If he is staying it could be a bit unwise but if he is going then he knows that it doesn't really matter
Mweh, imagine if England had won and Suarez didn't score a goal in this world cup....fairly sure, this Board, websites and papers would be full of gloating opposition fans, hacks, pundits telling us Roy was right.... Except....reality is reality....and pricks will be pricks whether he hides from them or goads them.
