Christ on a bike; I can't believe I waded through that load of inane bollocks and I still don't know what you're banging on about. Nice to see another thread completely derailed by an argument that had nothing to do with the actual matter in hand. Meanwhile, Charlton fans are busy getting organised for another effective protest.
There was an e-mail discussion amongst members of the FWG. But only those on the club circulation list for the meeting. Those that weren't invited or could not attend did not appear on the circulation list. Therefore they weren't included in the discussion amongst the supporters' side of the FWG. An oversight which has now been corrected, I hope. Like you say Charlton are organising effective protests whilst all DMD wanted was a simple "those missing have now been added".
All of which makes it disappointing. This is what the wider audience see, they don't see the daft internet exchanges, the shadowy email groups, they simply see these key speeches. The only thing Dutch has been right about is that the Trust needs to win the trust of the folk they are reaching out to. (Other than that he's just an argumentative fool who trys too hard to be clever and fails) I'm against being at their beck and call, which is how I see the FWG, but balanced, constructive talks are great. I don't recall any personal experience when telling someone 'we should talk about this', followed by 'or else' has ended in trust or result. Of course, as Dutch will affirm, I am guessing, just shooting posts for arguments sake. From where I'm sat I think the timelines are bollocks, the only deadlines are your own, as the club couldn't give two figs. Take control and stop reacting. The membership scheme is on a timeline, so l don't subscribe to it, create your own timeline. Let the club make their stupidity happen, canvass supporters for their 'phone- in deals' (those Skyesque ones), gather your facts, take a pause and be wiser, not louder. Don't be reactive.
For ****s sake, just how anal can this get? The list of attendees at the last FWG was nothing other than a list of those who the club invited, those who were welcome. Right or wrong that is what happened. It would appear, from the endless drivel on here, that some folk, although they were not invited, although others didn't include them in some email group or other, haven't got the ****ing balls to stick up for themselves. Apparently they read these posts but let Dutch speak for them, they let him play the pathetic violin of their woes. If that pathetic plan doesn't work they will leave and say nothing, Dutch will keep driving the guilt trip and will blame the Trust for not representing these sackless fools. Really, guys? Are you really so inadequate that you let Dutch use you like this? Or is this a construct for argument and a means to attack individuals, the Trust, or whoever Dutch decides to target today. Anti-anything by Hull City AFC supporters would be okay, if low key; there's a season to finish. The Allam's approach requires a thoughtful and measured response.
Agree about most Fez, but how it appears to me is the "email - sub group" was made up of those who attended the meeting, which would make any discussions they had prior to the scheme being released confidential, because of the NDA. Even those who were invited, as DMD suggests they were, could not have been involved in any post meeting discussions because of the NDA. Any one of those who believe themselves to be part of the FWG, but excluded from post meeting discussions, have the ability to contact other group members without the help of DMD stirring up **** on here. Even if they did ask for his help a simple PM would have been more appropriate. It's an attention & self importance issue he has.
The NDA died a death when it was broken, it has no further purpose, legally or otherwise. Dutch gets his kicks by trying to be a conversational wizard, he fails as he seems to be pre-pubescent, always having to ask questions about routine things and then refusing to believe others have learned something in life. He has as much point as a Dutch mountain dog. At least Happy Tiger has had his epiphany, as his tune has changed dramatically.
There was a discussion between the members of the FWG by e-mail. Some people weren't party to that discussion because they didn't attend the membership scheme meeting or weren't invited. I can see no problem with them being added to the e-mail discussion once the NDA had been breached.
It's finished Obi, it was a one off meeting, every poster on this board can be added to the group if they want, nobody plans on using it again. If Dutch had just asked to be added to the list in the first place, it would have saved us eight pages, particularly as it's redundant now anyway.
It's funny reading some of the later replies the try for the character analysis. It was one quick question raised, that wasn't exploded by me, if you look, I tried to end it several times. The person asked knew who was missing from the moment I asked it, if not before.
