I agree with this I still don't think he'd play nice if there was a sniff that a suggestion had come from a fan group, but there are hopeful signs I think I'm not sure you'd be able to know who to target at the moment though. Best wait for a new owner, or see which way Ehab turns next

Just been catching up on this thread. Can't find it now but someone (Obi?) mentioned about us contacting the PL about the concessions issue. I'm pretty certain the PL have never said anything public about it other than the holding statements in the summer about discussing it with the club. All the trusts met with Richard Scudamore, PL boss, several months ago and he didn't really give a clear update on it. I think they were worried that challenging the Allams on the rule would lead to a legal battle which they didn't fancy, and they knew their rule was poorly worded. Not sure how soon that rule can be tightened up or what the process is to do it, but that's something we really need to pursue. That update was the last the PL have said on the issue. It's my regret that we haven't done more on this front since the summer and I think we should push it properly again now. I think the PL have had a bit of an easy ride on it and are just crossing their fingers that we get relegated and it becomes someone else's problem.
You don't need to specifically target anyone, that's the whole point. You put a magnanimous gesture out there, you let it float and you see if you get a bite. No one bites, nothing lost, but integrity intact.

I think the rules are reviewed & agreed each season after the play off final when the promoted teams are offered their share of ownership in the PL.
