The result against Liverpool will let the world know whether we're a big team or not. Liverpool only show up against the big teams. If they win, we're a big team If we win, we get 3 points Win win

He may be a bit tired, but he's still miles better than Perch, aerial wise anyway. We need that aerial presence.

 

ffs Tiote has only just returned from a length injury lay off, he needs match time again.

 

I'm not on about his performances I'm on about his attitude when he plays.

 

Also, he only seemed to pick his game up when HBA came on today.

So did a lot of players. Jonas and Ober both looked a lot more lively when HBA came on.

 

Pretty much the same for everyone in midfield and attack though. With Benny on we had a link and it helped the midfield out.

 

Ok but you may think he looks disinterested but it could be lack of match sharpness or maybe not 100% fit.

 

How come we never rate Pardew in these threads? Always wondered that.

 

I actually partially blamed Pardew for the loss vs WBA.

 

Shame about our bubble bursting and all that.

 

I blamed him, his tactics have been utter **** recently. He was lucky Benny had an impact today!

 

Because I don't think that bringing on Ben Arfa for Best is really something that deserves an applause. It's common sense as Best was woeful for the hour that he played. Pardew has improved though by making his substitutions at the right time and not giving the subs just 10 minutes to make an impact.

 

Bit harsh on Obertan, was impressed with him at times today.

Surely Pardew can see that we are a completely different proposition with HBA on the pitch?! He inspires the other players to perform, and also - that goal, wow.

 

I mean his tactics and stuff out of 10. Like today, I'd say it was a 5 at most for him, we went out, played crap and we only won because we brought on a flair player.
