Reuben's rejected our latest contract offer and has left the club.

I have to be honest, I've mixed feelings about this one. In one way I'm glad cause he was prone to making blunders, that often cost us a goal but on the other hand he was a good defender and what appeared leader on the pitch.

I suppose I'm more narked that Hazell had said he loved the club and wanted to see out his playing days with the Latics....

However, thanks for all you did for us Reuben and for the cracking goal against Leeds.

What a shame. I agree with you in some ways though, he did make a few blunders and he was never the same without Gregan in the team.

Still, I will be sad to see him go. I think he commanded the pitche well, and yes, he was the most obvious leader of the team as captain.

He did make mistakes and as Paul said he was never the same without Greegs. We just need to get M'voto side (Please!) and hopefully he has someone else in CB or we could just start Tarki, he's amazing.
