Can't recall which song but one of them is an Irish republican rant.

Ah - you're probably talking about Good Morning Britain - "a corporal sneers at a Catholic boy as he eyes his gun like a rich man's toy he's killing more than Celtic joy death is not a stranger"
Fair dos but the song as a whole was an attack on Thatcherite Britain at the time.

Correct Dan and the album is fantastic. Probably his best I would say.

I thought the song was a response to Thatcherism? Basically, she might be a **** but Britain's still a great place to live. That's my recollection of it but then I was rather young.

Yah sorry - thatcherism rather than thatcherite Britain. I said the latter to illustrate that it was about everywhere and not just NI.

And like ER I thought that album was bloody excellent.

Hmm, I remain unconvinced Dan but let's just say I won't lose any sleep over it.

    Anyway, in summary.

Eden Hazard, who`s first language is Belgianese, was given Aztec Cameras box-set by Pat Nevin due to their chelsea connection. Obviously through problems in translation " Good Morning Britain " was misinterpreted by Hazard - and possibly his agent - as a anti -welsh war-cry....confusion over the role of welsh miners in thatchers loose fascist cabal being the most likely point of misinterpretation. When Hazard was confronted by the antics of the wayward, fiery tempered welsh ballboy, who bears more than a passing resemblance to a humanoid mole, he understandably lost temporary control of his mind. Hazard is now receiving psychological counselling due to the uncovering of his painful repressed genetic memories of oppression of his - rather flat and dreary - Belgian homeland by the Nazi backed Vichy Welsh.

Hazard has explained to Doctor Max Clifford that the ballboys actions caused a traumatic flashback to an incident in the Great War where Hazards great grandfather was saved by the selfless actions of a Welshy who - mistaking it for a pineapple - jumped on top of a live grenade. Hazard was re-enacting this and - in his mind - was in fact trying to save the young man.

Sting has offered tantric sex therapy to anyone in the stadium who was emotionaly disturbed by this unfortunate series of events.
