it was well known a while ago that european clubs were instructing the ball boys not to return the ball quickly if they were in a good position but to return it quickly if not - I think it was a Manu away game when that came to light on the telly. Surely the ball boy should have an FA trial with video evidence used and if he is given a 3 game ban and they appeal another game can be given for a frivoulous appeal. Does anyone remember what Cantona got for assaulting the crowd at Crystal Palace cause it comes under the same rule ? - although this is Chelsea
The Ball Boy was a twat - he should have known what he was doing was hazard-ous. BUT…..charges for common assault, possibly on a minor could well be laid if someones complains to the Police!
