Yeah I like the look of him. Great energy, takes a risk.
I think it would make more sense considering his wages would be like a third of Hazards, allowing us to get someone else too.
Looks like Powell will be signed too.

What do you think of Fellaini?

Yeah, Fergie would sort the fro' out i'm sure... Bebe style.

I think with a mobile, technical player alongside him he'd be brilliant. I've never seen I centre mid win so many goal kicks on his chest before.
And he's versatile too, as he showed against us.:emoticon-0106-cryin

He's one of the few centre midfielders who could actually match Yaya shoulder to shoulder and that would be a great asset.

In all honesty, can't really remember the last bad game he's had for Everton.I remember when he first came over and had to get used to playing in the premiership, but he's been pretty consistant for a long time

Yeah.... but we've not really been linked with him of late, so don't see it happening.

Kagawa and Fellaini would improve United more than Hazard, and cost about the same too.

Isn't Fellaini kind of injury prone? He always seem to miss a decent chunk of the season.

    This season -- 43
    10-11 --- 25
    09-10 --- 34
    08-09 --- 35

He could hold more and let Kagawa/cleverley roam
or he could play infront of Carrick, offer a direct threat (like against us).
Obviously he can play in a three man midfield.
In a tight game (like versus City) he could literally man-mark Yaya.

He'd win every aerial challenge, he's versatile, unique and would improve here.

I think Fergie rates him, and if I remember correctly we showed interest before he joined Everton.

Watching the likes of Tiote and Yaya rampage through our midfield was painful, and Fellaini would stop that happening.

Hazard is brilliant straight through the middle, hes better than Rooney at the Trequista (sp? ) role so Rooney would be a striker again if we had got him.........and of course Rooney will still be a striker considering we are signing Kagawa ( kagawa is far better than Hazard right now but has 2 years on him in all fairness )

Not wanting to upset Chelsea fans but Hazard will regret his choice down the line, its the wrong club. Surely footballers look at what clubs have done with similar players and if Hazard had any confidence in his ability he would be right up for a challenge. He will get complacent at Chelsea as due to the fact hes a Roman signing, dropping him could cost the manager his job so why try at all?

Insane decision made for no footballing reasons at all but purely because his agent forced his hand.

Expect chelsea to get some hassel off Uefa for this transfer btw, £6million in agents fees......shocking.

Even as a Chelsea fan, I have to agree with this, that agent was blatantly given a sweetener if he pointed Hazard in Chelsea's direction.
I still think that he would fit into our team really well. And I am not sure what you mean by the manager would lose his job if he didnt play him, wtf is that supposed to mean?

He has been signed by Roman, the last 2 players signed by Roman really hampered your club. Sheva was the first and he all but destroyed his amazing reputation and Torres has done the same thing. Granted both are older but both were signed and both were promised a starting place by Roman. AVB and DiMatteo had to drop Torres due to his awful form, he just didnt suit your side.#

Roman knows nothing about football, not a thing. If he knows what shape the ball is then he knows more that I thought. My guess is he would say its round in broken english.

My take on this (for what it is worth) a very good signing for Chelsea, a position that they can well accomodate him in.
Would he have fitted in at Utd? Who knows.
He is a very gifted player but we already have numerous players who can play his position, players who are already familiar with Fergies rotation policy and never moan.
(It could be paper talk but) a player who states he wants, not would like, a certain no. shirt regardless of who already wears it before joining a club is a prima donna.
Apart from a few old players (which i think helped us to match City points wise) we already have a young and upcoming squad.
Will Fletcher or Anderson play for Utd again who Knows, we could definately do with a couple of decent CM`s.
Everton supporters would probably hate us but Fellaini would be a good shout for one of them and someone slightly more creative.

Hazzard will be with Barca or RM within 4 years, IF he is any good.
