I've heard that Mr Hayes is a true professional, not heard of anything negative. Though I have wondered if CP and PH had fallen out at some point. Also believed to be the biggest earner at the club which is probably why the club waived a fee.
Agree 100% eddie - just unhappy that he's gone to Rosler. Mceachran's just gone to Boro - fine player that. Bolasie's good, but I'm just not sure what he could add at the moment.
Am I right in thinking bolassie is a left winger? Would be a huge mistake to team an out and out winger with wiggins IMO.
Morning lads, Sorry I didnât let you boys in on this⦠Workâs been bedlam as has life in the Franco houseâ¦!! Anyway, I can confirm there has been no fall out with CP or anyone else at the club. It was made clear early doors that he was considered a squad player in the Championship this season. Upshot⦠he wants to be playing regular football hence why he jogged on. There was never any chance he would simply run his contract down and pick up his wages. So, in a nut shell⦠Thereâs no scandal or any such like whatsoever. Heâs just a decent pro who was waiting for a decent club (within striking distance of Essex) to show an interest in him. Somewhere heâs likely to be afforded the opportunity to actually earn his money by playing rather than picking splinters out of his arse. Also⦠His wages were not astronomical. Mainly because Preston brought out the remaining two years of his contract with them (where his weekly wage was nothing to be sniffed at let me tell you) allowing us to negotiate a good deal for ourselves. One thingâs for sure, there are far higher earners at the club than him. For Rockyâ¦: Wycombe went for it big style in terms of making his loan move permanent. Whilst he thoroughly enjoyed his time there he found the commute a bit much, resulting in him staying in a hotel up there for most of his loan spell. Something thatâs far from ideal when youâve got a wife and kids. Shame really because I can see Wycombe having a great season⦠Lovely to speak to you all, take care of yourselves now, Franco
