I think he would too, but Fury has at least had/will have some decent tests. McDermottx2 Rogan Chisora All look good on his record as a much younger man. Price has an aberration against McDermott and nothing else. Like I say, I think he'd win, but Price has to beat someone first. The fight can wait. It can build and hopefully be worth a lot more to both men in a couple of years.
Agreed Rebel, Fury has fought the better calibre of opponent to date. I just wonder how he'd fare against someone roughly his own size. The three you've named are all considerably shorter than him. It's a little similar to the Klitchkos situation. They seem to have very little trouble dispatching shorter guys. Not since the Lewis fight has Vitali faced anyone even remotely comparable in terms of height. With all physiological things being roughly equal in terms of height, weight and reach. I'd massively fancy Price to come away with a comfortable win.
The media go overboard about everything theese day's but im not saying he should be banned for just the brawl, he has done several stupid thing's since he has come on the scene and he does'nt seem to be learning.
Scott Belshaw was a big guy with an undefeated record when they fought(I think he was undefeated). At that time, I think he had very high hopes, but Fury handled that prettywell. I don't want to come across as a massive Fury fan or anything, I do recognise his limitations, I just think that people are ridiculously harsh on him.
Fair do's Rebel... Either way i hope the fight between Fury and Price comes off at some point in the not too distant future.
Certainly. But he's a British level fighter, maybe european. I don't know of another fighter at that level who gets so heavily criticised.
Good clip of the brawl from another angle. Haye clearly was just defending himself and did not want to get involved in any brawl. Vitali who is not Haye's biggest fan, applauds him and shakes his hand.
It looks like a semi-sarcastic clap though (ie glad you give that numpty a clout but you just showe yourself right up there mate) I agree that 'Chorizo', the sausage, went looking for it with whoever stood in his way, before and after the fight. Shame on him and unfortunately a shame on the sport (again). But I still loves it!
Some fans wanted Chisora to be banned. More people are talking about Boxing due to 2 idiots brawling in a press conference so if you consider that a good thing, then thats up to you.
It has got boxing on the front pages, maybe for the wrong reason, but as a result more people will want to watch Haye vs Chisora if it happens, like it or not. Chisora is crazy, and was getting a bit too cocky because he was getting away with his antics. Haye did nothing wrong IMO. What was he meant to do, run away, stand there and get slapped. If someone comes at your saying the things Chisora had said with there crew, if you are man enough you take them down before they take you down. The security there was appalling, many times I have seen potential brawls not happen because of well placed security. Two boxers get into some fisty cuff after some cross words, shock horror, it happens. Two politicians going at it that is the disgrace.
My favourite perspective was David Mitchell's. When asked if he thought the Haye/Chisora brawl was wrong , he commented "Why? We all hope that prostitutes sometimes have sex for fun!" , or words to that effect.
