He's been performing very well for nion 2 years... I wouldnt say excellent in hard to please.. Tbh the Manq bashers are just boring now
Tiote is a funny one. If you look at his career here, he was crap. No two ways about it. Once all that "shooooooot" stuff started after the Arsenal game, his head seemed to go. His passing went to **** was the big thing. That one season with Cabaye it was so well balanced. He kept it simple, get the ball back, give it to Cabaye 5 yds away. Then he started trying to 'develop' his game...believing the hype most likely. For that one season his level was stupendous though. Like Vieira good.
Have to say I think Manquillo has gone from absolute rats ****, to a dependable PL right back. Can't knock him really. His quality on the ball at times is average to poor, but his defending is excellent. If we get a new right back, he'd be the one to retain as back up. I'd ship Kraft and Yedlin pronto. He doesn't really let us down now. Hard to believe after his first 6-12 months when he looked about League 2 level. Sometimes you have to be patient.
Manq is decent. There's far worse we have to worry about. Hayden is clumsy and thick as ****. Captain Fistbumps is a disgrace, we sold Steven Taylor only to make his reincarnation club captain.
He did two things yesterday, moved from the 4 TWICE and each time gave away a foul or lost him man. He's ****ing ****.
Agree with the old senile GOAT, Lascelles was decent and won a lot of headers to the balls West Ham punted forward.

He's fine when we're penned in and they just float aimless balls off his head. It's everything else he's useless at
Even the likes of Van Dyke have daft moments. Fair enough if you don't think he had a decent game, that's your pregorative.
Well, whenever they had a goal scoring opportunity he was usually the one marking that man or flailing his arms about like a car dealership mascot. I'll go with a pretty mediocre game in which he barely had to do anything.
I mean I don't think Lascelles is a world beater by any stretch, but I think he does ok. He had a decent game for me and was superb on crosses into the box (he always is to be fair). Not sure about him dribbling out of defence but aside from that I think he did fairly well. He is limited though. Fernandez is such a good defender on the other hand. A proper centre half that lad.
I thought Lascelles had a pretty good game. He seems to read balls into the box well, both in the air and on the floor. I actually think he is an extremely important member of the squad - you notice a lot of players look to him and he is continually encouraging them, organising them. Good captain for me.
