The thing is IF we have Rafa next season then he will get game time either way. Rafa will never change his rotation policy. Better to have him rotating with a top class DM than Colback.

Totally agree. He falls into the He's good but he's not that good bracket for me. He pings balls about left right and centre and not a lot else. His corners were shocking last night and he bottled the only decently placed free kick we got and let Ritchie take it when he should have tested the keeper/wall. We need someone in the mould of Hazard, Modric, Ben Arfa to an extent. A slippery little trickster who can run and drive forward with the ball at his feet, create something from nothing, draw fouls in the final 3rd and just generally be a pain in the ****ing arse to the opposition (think of Bellamy).
I think I might know someone who could be a genuine option. However to avoid alerting other teams to him before the transfer window I'll just give him a codename of...err..."Trev"
