If you like war films and are interested in the Second World War. Like character based tv shows and it’s all true and you get to meet the real people from easy company. It’s immense tv. You have two episodes I think before they parachute into France then it’s just utterly brilliant.

Anybody watched Whisky Tango Foxtrot with Tina Fey? Its about an American War Journalist in Afghanistan. Great film - very funny in parts.

Can't remember any of the rest of Saving Private Ryan, just the opening 10 minutes or so.

Enemy at the gates the one about the Russian sniper? That was good.

Full metal jacket was decent, not seen Platoon. What was the recent film about bomb disposal guy? Hurt Locker maybe, that was pretty **** as it had good reviews. There was another recent one as well where all I can really remember is they are all on the side of this like hill thing and getting ****ed up, can't remember what it was called.

No, recent as in last 2/3 years. A group of Americans are on a hill and getting hunted by the Taliban, it's basically them getting ****ed up for an hour or so. Is based on a true story (like they all are) can't actually remember what happens at the end, seem to remember a helicopter blowing up which was meant to be rescuing them.
