Reams has mellowed over the years. I think we should all try to live together in peace and harmony. The only thing to hate is hatred.
Hello Darren, how is it going with You? I really think that this bitterness should be buried. If you really don't like what is posted on ITTV, don't read it. I know that is a bit simplistic but it is true.
All good mate yourself? I know what you mean and the same goes for all forums its a merry go round one person sees something on another forum they don't like and it all flares up again. I think its the nature of the Internet. Same with ITTV people leave or are banned from it and all they do is spend time on Life so they can go back and moan and slag people off. The joys of the internet
One ITTV member took offence to Reams labelling Vol's mum as the 'local bike'. Reams waved goodbye to the decent-minded member. Nice way to run a forum, eh? Anyway, there is more to life than slagging off fellow Charlton supporters on internet forums. A woman (who I knew) was beheaded opposite my father-in-law's house.
A couple of months ago Reams posted a thread about his Dad, Eddie, who I remember well from his time at Charlton. I posted a fulsome & deserved tribute to Eddie on the thread (not everyone was so complimentary). Reams has now taken it to a new level with posts about my Mum. I was only alerted to it by a PM by another poster. Reams has over stepped the mark this time. Maybe when he sobers up again he might pause to reflect on his chronic lapse of taste, either that or he should stop posting after having a drink.
Posts about your Mum Vol or any other relation is out of order. It has no place on a Charlton football forum. But this forum has done it's fair share of belittling Reams. The trouble is with abuse it soon spirals out of control and becomes tit for tat.
No, I'm not the Flying Monk, Vol. I only ever post on here, but I have started to read ITTV since it all kicked off. Yesterday was a surreal day. A panic ensued once we heard the news. We have many family members on and near to Nightingale Road. And now the area has been robbed of a fine lady.
But he started it It needs to be nipped in the bud now. He runs his forum how he deems fit, and we do what we do. I took exception to him pretending to his members he "offered me out", but when the guy has a beer he chats rubbish. I'm sure ITTV has a host of decent members, so no point tarring them with the same brush.
Reams has now deleted the Nick Gray (whoever he is?) thread and offered an open apology in its stead. Fair play, I reckon.
