Off Topic Have you got a brilliant idea to help improve your community?

The good news is that if people have the right attitude they can learn as much as they are able to by studying independently, at home. I can honestly say that I am autodidact in mathematics, that is, engineering mathematics. I never ever had an inspirational maths teacher, but I still find some aspects of pure mathematics fun. Metallurgy is fascinating, and so is Newtonian physics (forget modern physics - it is nothing more than speculation). So here's another idea for improving the community. We need youth clubs where children and adolescents can contact a good mentor and get guidance on how to learn about what interests them. The young needn't bother about cultural pressures if they follow their interests in the privacy of their homes. All they need is a good role model, guidance and encouragement. But where can they find it?
