Nice music china, love that old American 50s stuff. Lost my dad last February and he drummed that music and C&W into me. Nothing like itk:
Sorry to hear about your Dad Carrick....he obviously had good taste in music. I've a mate from Belfast who remembers that Rockabilly club you mentioned, was it the cool katz or something like that back in the 80s?
Yea KKK the Kool Kats Klub all us 1980 born again Teddy Boys and Rockabilly Rebels. My dad's generation must have had a right giggle at us
You can't beat proper music...There are loads of Rock n Roll gigs going on. I was asked to go to the Madison or Adison up in Belfast. Have you heard of Gerry Robinson?
It's the Madison. No I haven't heard of him. I remember going to Bangor roller skating rink to see The Jets in concert. A great night but they just disappeared I think it was near the end of that wee R&R renaissance
The Jets are still around Carrick and I think their kids have a band now. I will give you a shout if I go up North for a rock n roll gig...once a Ted always a Ted...
sorry este, thanks for the sentiments mate. It was a massive heart attack, thankfully he went quick. Sounds a bit cold but my mum has Alzeimers and he was hiding it from us, so the last year has been one to remember. But heyho what do you do? That's why I haven" t been on much. I didn't want to say something I'd regret to some wee clown of a keyboard warier whittling on about football as if it was the be all and end all of life. I could write a cracking country song about my 2013
Yea Shako would be nice to catch up sometime, what about your lads you must have a gaggle of grand children now. I'm up to 4
It's a long story regarding Grandkids ...2 officially...you've 4 FFS..you sure you're on the P side?...
Shako have you seen the populous polls we're on the wain. It's our duty to restock the numbers for the sake of Ulster and the Union. What'll the UK look like if we leave along with the Jocks
