Great write up in the Times today with large pictures of Lallana and Rodriguez as well.

I've left that page open on the sofa table for visitors to see.

Aye, we have no problems with the Swans either <ok>

Just as Leeds were the media darlings in L1 and the Championship, leaving Norwich largely unnoticed, the Swans got all the plaudits in the PL, while once again, we just went quietly about our business.

It's an impressive start to the season for the Saints for sure, and I hope that you guys do not press too hard, too soon, for the pot of gold, as Leeds did all those years ago.

Yeah I don't think any of us would want to relive our recent dark years again so soon.

    Fully agreed.

Saints are the underdogs who came back from the brink of obscurity and were using good ole' English talent to do it. Whether the media itself believes it or they're just peddling to the tweed chewing, pumpkin farming lowest denominator is up to debate. Fact is the media will eventually move on to some other story no matter what we do. The better the saints do this season the more the media interest is prolonged but we will eventually fall out of the limelight like every other darling team before us. So either enjoy it while it lasts or take comfort that it will be over soon

Or we win so much that the media want someone to beat us in order to make a story<laugh>

The love affair with us will end soon enough when we get a dip in form - which happens to every side at some point in the season. Then the articles will start to appear doubting our credentials, storys about of players, chairman etc, it will come to pass, so let us enjoy the moment!
