Any decent free transfers still available? Desperate but we need a bit more. The squad is light on cover

you`ve got to assume not really unless we get very, very lucky. Getting very, very lucky rarely works as a good plan though

SFA ****ed it up again, this has to do with Rangers transfer embargo and it has affected everyone, what a bunch of clowns they are.

It said on sportsound that it was to do with the fact that the sfa class a Saturday as a working day and hence the reason the window closed then, apparently the FA (and it seems evey other ****) do not class Saturday as a working day so they get to extend until Monday. what an utter ****ing shambles.

it also quoted Buttner's agent saying that the deal to take him to CP depended on man u getting baines.

I read it was to prevent rangers using it as a loophole by signing players today or monday as the embargo finished yesterday.

Which begs the question, has no **** at the SFA got a calendar? **** me it's not hard, when Rangers got the embargo applied you'd like to think someone at the ivory towers would have checked the dates.

I think that appears to be the general rumour but the above was the SFA's official explanation. but if the rumour is the case then the sfa have shafted everyone else, purely because they ****ed up with the rangers transfer embargo

Exactly - there`s not an agenda driven, snidey, corrupt, double-dealing, backstabbing, scheming, weasely, kickbacking bone in his body.

STV understands clubs were advised of the deadline earlier this year. The Scottish FA declined to confirm whether any complaints had been raised by its members.

We all knew when it closed, we can have no complaints. We have had all summer to get signings in, blame the board not the SFA.

Tommy Wright was also moaning about it on sportsound, they had a loan lined up but the english club said it would not go though until monday which obviously ment it did not go through at all. The SFA is a ****ing embarrassment

I agree that we have had all summer to get it sorted, but how much business is done on transfer deadline day, the majority of clubs wait until the last minute to see who they can get in which then determines who can go out. to simplistic to just blame the board

<ok> from celtics perspective I totally agree, we have the means to have managed this much better, can see why smaller clubs could have a complaint though.
