I don't dispute that we're not playing well enough, I have a season ticket too. I reject the sweeping "this league is crap" statements made by some though. I think people like saying it because it makes them sound like football connoisseurs with insightful technical knowledge or something. It's pro football at a very very high level, it's not crap. It may be worse than the 5 top leagues in Europe, and international competition. But the championship is our level, and based on recent performances- we may need to get used to it.
if you were told we would be 3rd with 16 games to go at the start of the season most would have grabbed that, but because we ground out some 1-0 at the start the expectation has grown, Harry is under performing along with some highly paid so called professional footballers, who think their to good for this division,and as for Phil Beard its always been my thought he is only here to sort out the planning for the training ground and new stadium, TF has mistakenly believed that Harry would deal with the football related matters.
No one has the right to sweep the league you need a hard work ethic, good management and some luck. We have had the luck not sure about the other two. The championship may be our level, but it does not have to be. I remember when Chelsea was no better than a second division club.
We can't allow all this negativity to take over, what is felt in the stands and behind the scenes I believe is reflected on the pitch. We need to get behind the team and push on. I have every faith that we will get second place and I agree there will be changes in the summer but let's not write off our season. It's all about belief, "build it and they will come" Onwards and upwards Come on you RRRRR's
Have we moved on this season at all? Yes, we've gone from 2013 to 2014, so were certainly making progress!
Well I never take negativity to the ground. Always support the team but that hasn't made them play any better.
The negativity on the pitch had filtered into the stands and not the other way round. I can't see how anyone can blame the fans although zamoras treatment doesn't help.
