Well Gervinho has all but said he's coming here. Don't know enough about him to form an opinion. Alvarez is a weird one. I personally like his comparisons to Messi.... The only similarities I can see are his nationality and the fact they both play the fussball. Would be nice to have an out and out winger though, especially someone with a bit of height. I retract that if he's tosh though.
height, pace & trickery all sound great. ive no idea if he's got 3 years left or he's a freebie. reports seem so conflicting. he's a risk for £12m, that's a lot to shell out on a prospect. And if he turns out good he'll be flying all over for internationals, could end up with vela syndrome. on the other hand, if he's messi, and he's 12m, he's a bargain!
