To be fair, the penalty shot was actually quite well taken, but his body shape in his run up indicated that corner. Still a good save. Mackie was awarded the penalty - wonder how he would have made out?

This is the sort of penalty shot we needed, and the likely result. We should never have let Helguson go.

Pirata, you're the mirror image of COL. Both of you blinded by your respective poster boys (lack of) talent.

When you come out with bias like that mate, it makes me question the veracity of everything else you say. I don't trust a word that comes out of COL's mouth. Haven't done so for over a year. Its very unfortunate because no doubt he has some good points to make but he's blown his credibility to bits with his constant flailing at Taarabt's feet. Please don't allow your own cred to collapse over your blind loyalty to a player.

Granero has been a pile of poo from the moment he arrived in his mini, quoting Socrates and talking about the meaning of life. A couple of decent performances in a whole season is not what we signed up for when we signed this guy from Real Madrid.

Granero showed he could be the best positioner of the ball from dead balls (corners & free kicks). But we've (the fans) have hit is confidence by booing him over Adel. Let him get his confidence back and he'll find Samba's head. My guess is he's not going to be given that opportunity, shame we could do with a confident Granero in the middle.

If it was quite well taken, it would have gone in Kilburn! If he put more power in it, the keeper wouldn't have kept it out. Look, any missed penalty is a bad one. Pure and simple. Your standards are set far too low. These are Pro footballers with the fate of our Club in their hands FFS!

I'm fairly confident Mackie would have buried it. I'd go as far as to say, I'm certain he would have.

That was absolutely ridiculous alright. Boo a player because he's taking over from a guy who's hit one decent free kick in three years. Fu*king joke.

Nevertheless, Granero is a grown man and shouldn't need us to hold his hand. Its well past time for him to step up to the plate.

What's the problem? He's sh.it right now. I say it openly and I'm not defending him for recent games. But pile of poo from the moment he arrived he was not. Think of me whatever you want

I think in all honesty that Mackie should have taken it. I really cant see him missing a penalty that he has run his nuts off to create.

He really had no right to go for that ball in the first place as i dont know what he was gonna do with it or even make it. But he puts everything in (always) and got his just reward.

I'm not gonna comment on the penalty except to say that we all saw the result. Some think it was a good save, others a poor penalty? I'll stay out of that one thanks.

Still, home ground should be an advantage to players. I think when we get a free kick at away game Granero gets less booed then at LR

No mate, I just found it funny that's all. Don't mind me, I've a weird sense of humour.

Like I said Pirata, I think it was ridiculous. Farcical in fact. Made me wonder what kind of monkeys follow the Club.

Still, is he a man or a mouse? For God's sake, he's supposed to be a Pro.

Yeah he should be a pro, but when you're low on confidence a little thing can be devasteting. But if Harry doesn't fancy him he won't play. As simple as that

People wouldn't be against Granero taking a free-kick in a dangerous position if he ever did anything but harmlessly float it several yards over the bar.

Absolutely. However, to be fair to him, he's only been sh*t at taking our frees for a few months whereas Taarabt's been sh*t for three years.

What a joke we are this season. I'm so fu*king depressed.

    1. He got couple of them on the goal but keepers punched them out.
    2. Adel's every free kick is on target? Well that's odd because he only scored ONE goal in the prem league from set piece.
3.They are against him since the Liverpool game when he was clearly brought on by Harry to take the free kick

This is getting boring we're just going over the same stuff. Adel is the best taker in the prem league. End of

He was better at testing the keeper, too.
