That lazy swing of his right leg gets up my ****ing nose. Traore would be better at corners so would Townsend

We have a whole team of dead ball specialists! Everytime we get a free kick they blast it out of play, leading to a dead ball.

Well I've seen Taarabt score the odd superb free-kick whereas I'm yet to see Granero do anything but float the ball five yards over the crossbar.

Please remind me then of all these superb set pieces that Granero has delighted us with.

Taarabt's penanlty wasn't that bad, it was well struck and near the post but too low so it was a good height for the keeper to make a good save. We have only had two pens all season, both against Norwich and both saved, the first one was from Cisse but we got lucky as Zamora tapped it in (even though he was guilty of encroachment). I think that pens and free kicks around the box is something that needs to be worked on on the training ground.

No point mate. You just continue watching Adel scoring from free kicks and corners. Be sure to to get out of his arse quick enough to see it

There's every point. I'm well aware that Taarabt isn't Beckham but I've seen him score direct free-kicks and put in good set pieces. I'm yet to see Granero do that but you insist he has done.

for what its worth, I'm with you on this and a masssive famn of Granero, but I'll put my hands up and say that since his first few games, he just hasnt done it. Dont know why and it frustrates me because i know he is a good player.

Sorry mate my language was inappropriate. I will just ask you Adel scored ONE free kick in the prem league didn't he? (Don't count championship with mickey mouse goalkeepers. ) Not much of a record isn't it?

fair play for your calm response <ok>

That sentence is written on this board too many times so I adopted it quite easily <laugh>
And I really don't know who are you talking about, can you explain?

I agree. His first games were great. But since then he's not as half as player he used to be. I think it has something to do with his head. He just doesn't look confident anymore. I'm as frustrated as you are believe me especially because we need a good CM right now that knows how to play ball

Yepp, dead right we do. Perhaps Granero has to learn to understand Harry telling him he's tr'ffic means he is moy bueno ?

I must admit I find it really odd. Even now I get caught with the "terrific" performance. But I'm young I'll learn

Not far off. If Ronaldo can stay longer to practice his free kicks I don't see a reason why out players can't

Taarabts penalty was awful, it was so slow and at a perfect height to save. For some reason, our team seem to strike the ball as hard as eight year old girls which may be a reason why we never score, only Townsend showed he could hit a decent ball against Norwich.

Taarabt Should never take a set piece again, someone name me how many taarabt corners or free kicks we've scored from in the PL.

The people booing granero for taking a fk are idiots, he hasn't scored in about five fks, taarabt hasn't scored in at least ten times that amount and I can't even remember many times he even made the keeper make a save.

That's a ridiculous statement and one which should not be allowed get by without check.

It was a SH*TE penalty. Pure SH*TE. No power, no conviction and a perfect height for the keeper. It was a very weak effort and one which I predicted the moment he took the ball.

How many penalties has he taken for us Watford?

Hang on. Agreed, if the delivery from a set piece is crap there's no hope BUT we were awful when it comes to a plan. Where was the movement at all those corners and free kicks? There was none - no blocks, runs etc.. just aim for the big bloke - Samba and hope... let's see after a weeks training.... btw - Granero is such a talent - I want him back in the team and taking some set pieces too
