I couldn't care less what LUST say.

 

Colin has come out and publically stated that he has talked to the new owners and "They are good people". He would'nt say that just to stretch out bates' lie would he? Colin has already had a dig at bates and the current regime about how they let current players under contract run their contracts down so I dont think he would go along with any bullcrap from bates....

 

Another thought, TO could be effective August 1 so in a holding pattern until then, although clearly transfer activity seems to be taking place.

There is no way any actual new owner would allow for the captain of the club to be sold, especially when the manager has stated that he has tried everything to keep hold of him. Someone is lying, my own feeling is that it's Colin. Perhaps time will prove me right.

Whichever way you look at it, it doesn't look good. I was led to believe LUST were satisfied that the new owners would bring some much needed transparency to proceedings. Now it seems there's a total communication breakdown between LUST and these new people. Maybe the 'new owners' are actually Bates' mates masquerading under a new name, and there's actually no new money/investment coming into the club. If so LUST have been completely fooled.

Maybe all those that promised to back the main man are slow coming forward with funds or have had a change of heart.

 

You've also said before that you don't care for the city of Leeds and you're not proud to be a fan of the club.

If you hate what being Leeds is about so much, **** off and watch your beloved Stirling Albion and numerous other two-bit Scotch 'clubs' full time and do us all a favour.

 

I thought the original hold up to the 'takeover' was that the 'new owners' needed to appoint a CEO. Again this doesn't ring true if Harvey is to remain as CEO. Surely new owners wouldn't want Bates' lapdog anywhere near the place. Very strange.

If I did, I was probably meaning that as I come from Stirling, I have no interest in Leeds as a city, like many other Leeds United FC fans. One of things I have always like about Leeds United is that they have a worldwide appeal. There are many Leeds fans who are proud of Leeds and Yorkshire, I'm not one of them. I can't say I've never been proud to be a Leeds supported, except in the bad days (and they were really bad) with racism and just awful atmosphere inside and outside of ER. I hate the anti Man Utd stuff and especially the plane stuff, it's not me and I would rather it wasn't around, only my own thoughts and opinions, not sure if they mean anything to the world of Leeds United.

Getting back to my initial post, what has this got to do with my thoughts on LUST?
