Enjoy your summers each and everyone
Forget about this year that´s gone,
Next year at least, can´t be any less fun
Or if it is, things will have gone wrong,
I´m taking my break now, so until then
When pre-season pokes up its head,
God willing, I shall be back here again
To read, write and hear what is said

Much may be different when I do return
In management and playing staff,
Maybe some of the talent we´ve to burn
Will rise like the wheat from the chaff,
Murphys and Loza and young Morris C
May just get their chances to shine,
Southampton have shown us all what can be
When home-grown are given game time

But it will all be a whole new ball game
With us the new boys on the block,
No-one down there cares very much for fame
And they´ll strike should opportunity knock,
I´m not expecting us to run away
With things, but if our heads are right,
And we treat teams with respect when we play
Then the future could still be bright. OTBC

An excellent verse as ever to complete the official season RBF.
I have just realised that I will be in the same country as you for a few days from Friday as Mrs.Thurnby and I will be over in Copenhagen.
 
Look forward to reading your posts again RBF and yes, it will be all change come July and we see who has 'jumped ship' in the meantime!!!
 
Hi RBF bor, looking forward to our next season (DV) with our fans once again united under a common cause. Feel sorry for ColMike, carrying that chip on his shoulder all this time has blighted his viewpoint. Just think we can now afford to buy his whole team never mind their manager and still get change for £1!!!

Enjoy yourselves, I don´t know whether it´s your first visit, but if it is you´ll certainly find plenty to see, and don´t leave without visiting Tivoli. :)

It is our first visit RBF and Tivoli is very much on our list. We have been hooked by the Nordic Noir and want to see (if not possibly cross) the Oresund Bridge like Saga and Martin and visit the parliament in the hope of seeing Sidse Babette Knudsen. Well you never know!

All very good choices, bit doubtful about Sidse Babett <laugh>, but best of luck, and if you´re going to go as far as the Øresund Bro, then you may as well cross it too, Sweden´s also worth a bit of a peep. :)
