As I've not earned anything for almost 2 years due to cancer I wont be donating a days pay. I would if I could though, but what a refreshing change at the club under Radz, Bates would have charged the kid for a signed photo. Isnt this the same cancer that brought Bradley Lowry down?

Sorry to hear you're not back at work yet, Doc. Hopefully, whatever the obstacle is will disappear asap. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Cheers Jock & Chips. Seems like everything is now fine & dandy (Touch wood) First bout was cleared up last Summer with some experimental treatment. Then just as I was about to start work again in November last year I found out got secondary in the left lung. Went and had a lung resection done in March which isnt nice, but now raring to go again but struggling getting a job simply because of having 2 years out. One bloke who was about to offer me a job 2 weeks ago found out I had been down with cancer and boom no offer.

2 out of 3 successes in that post is something to celebrate, Doc. Not nice to realise you're a mortal. Kinda shakes up the confidence a bit, doesn't it? As for that bloke, he deserves a big spud up his exhaust pipe, either literally or figuratively. What line are you in & in what area? You never know, someone on here might know someone. I think they do a jobs section on Waccoe too. Best of luck whatever you do, but at 82, you should really be thinking of retirement anyway! :D

Really sorry to hear Doc, if you only had the secondary addressed in March and you're raring to go again now, fair play to you - I hope you get sorted with something soon.

I'm in anyway, let's hope it makes a difference for the wee man in the end. <ok>
