I really hope so, one of the few players to play with his head and his heart.

Just two more posts before your rep shows.

Wouldn't want to lose Ben Arfa myself.

I personally think Pardew is as much to blame as Ben Arfa for his poor performances.

Which one ACS, Debuchy or Fat Boy?

HBA's condition is an absolute disgrace for a professional footballer. Regardless what anyone thinks about who is to blame for his shocking displays since our season finishing 5th, the blame for his professionalism towards getting in shape to play football can only rest with one person. And it isn't the manager! I think Italy might be a good move for him in some ways, not the most competitive football over there at present. That said the brutality of Italian defending will never change and despite his substantial frame, the lad is still weak as piss. I think he has been dispossessed in dangerous positions more than any player I have watched in the last 10 years. I include even Shola and Ketsbaia in that!

I could see HBA coming alive in somewhere like Greece or even more so Holland. The dutch league is not all that physical. Equally back to France would suit too for similar reasons. Wherever he goes next, he needs to knuckle down and learn the art of playing team football. He is almost 27 now and still plays football like a schoolkid. As he found in France and now in England though, there is not really room for that in the professional ranks unless you are Messi or Ronaldo type talented.

To my mind you would be better off without him, a great talent but I am afraid you are only going to see glimpses of it , this forum last year were comparing him to Sessengyon (sp) and I think you were right two of a kind
