  3. I prefer to see a return to the old style MOTD, pre-Lineker days when the matches were introduced and highlights were shown, each game received an equal amount of time too. No pundits and no "tactical analysis".

Think we all said after a few appearances when he started that he turned out to be a very good pundit. I'm not overly convinced of him as a commentator but not doubt he is one of the best pundits at the moment.

MOTD needs to work out if it wants to just be a highlights show, or if it want's to be an analysis show. If the first then spend more time on each game and show equal highlights. If the later, then get better pundits than a few old pros.

As a commentator i find him fine. Its all in the voice really and he doesn't interfere with the game like say owen does by just being annoying.

MOTD is a question. i think to be an analysis show you need to show more highlights... then dig in. it'd be a magazine show i guess. revisit is almost like that.

I think actually they should maybe think about MOTD and MOTD2 in this way. I dunno.. euopa games on sunday mes that up.

I'd rather they show more highlights, tbh. I'd rather watch footie and draw my own conclusions than be told what to think by someone else.
