To me, I think this is a good thing. Appointing someone who has come from a well run club, inherited a good team and progressed them and is ambitious can only be a positive thing. Every manager has a "risk" associated with them that it might not work out, but for me, giving an up and coming manager with clear values a chance to work with a good squad will hopefully pay dividends. I will be fully supportive of him, and hopefully can see us have a successful season playing some attractive football.
EDIT** Also worth noting, if we did wait until the end of the season, and Burton got promoted (again) increasing his stock, how many of us would be crying out to appoint him?
