If Wenger decided to leave now, he will have seen off 12 failed Spud managers, none of whom have managed to finish above him and he will be able to look back knowing that he won 3 titles, 6 FA cups including 2 doubles as he watched those chumps from N17 sacking manager after manager and achieving **** all <ok>

Good point very well made.

As for Wenger. I think he is a PL legend, and I got a lot of time for the man. Comes with the territory that I've had a few ****s n giggles at his expense. It still makes me cringe when I think back to how he was humiliated that time he fell at Stoke station and man took piss. That was a low blow and made me feel uncomfortable because I think he's a good guy and done so much good for the club.

The fans that want him gone will miss him sooner or later.

The bottlers are that keen for Wenger to be sacked as it might mean that they'll have a chance of finishing above them <rofl>

Maybe he should have waited a tad first!

Sky, please don't fall into the classic trap of the deluded Gooner by excusing Arsenal's failings with a comparison the failings of Spurs.

This thread is more than justified by the fact that Wenger is now being widely ridiculed in the National press, as well as by the majority of Gooners.

Bottlers?

If you are referring to Spurs as a club, I am not sure that it cares one way or the other whether the old fossil goes or stays.

If you are referring to Spurs fans (which would appear to be a rather strange term of reference, if you are), then I think you will find that most of us would rather he stays, since the man is pure comedy gold.

Fair play if you find it funny to finish below your rivals in every season ever.

Sums Spurs as a club up, mind.

"It was a mental test, but we succeeded."
(Wenger, after Arsenal drew 3-3 with Bournemouth)

In Wenger's eyes, Arsenal falling further behind in the title race and embarrassing themselves against a team that, in former years, he would have expected to trounce, is a success.

We all know that Wenger has suffered from selective-blindness throughout his entire career. God alone only knows the number of off-sides, swan-dives, and handballs he's failed to see, even when they have happened right in front of him!

But does he truly believe that, last night against Bournemouth, Arsenal succeeded?

If he does - and I think he does - how can a man with such a view on things possibly be expected to win the title? Surely, it is time for Wenger to be sacked?

Your views, please, lads. And definitely no wumming for this one.
Your obession of everything Arsenal burns brightly. The third rate wum in you is evident, die you should!

I doubt even you, with your apparent limited intellect, believe that.

Most fans - not just Spurs fans - find so much to laugh about Wenger. His stupid duvet-coat, his bottle-kicking antics, his magic glasses that blot out every single Arsenal transgression but hones in on every single opposition sleight, his French accent, his furry eye-brows... so much to laugh at. But undoubtedly the funniest of the lot is his ability to fleece the Arsenal fans of their hard-earned readies in order to pay some of the most outrageous wages in World football and not to win the EPL for over a decade or to win the CL ever!

Don't try to pretend that that doesn't make you chuckle, too!

It's because most football supporters have seen their club finish higher than Wenger or don't care that they haven't.

He's a tart, but I can't believe actual Spurs fans want him to stay after he's finished above you for 20 odd consecutive years.

It does.
But it also makes us chuckle that despite all you posted above.....Spurs still ALWAYS manage to **** it up and finish under them <laugh>
