Have to say, I found Meire's performance on Sky toe curling. She is one of these women who uses her sexuality and what she perceives as her good looks to her advantage. The carefully staged shot of her getting passionate at the Reading game and singing along (Chief Stooge Murray sitting next to her), was nauseating. I can't stand her sly grin and breathless Bridgit Bardot mock English. "I love Charlton" ....**** off love, you love the attention of a sad bunch of 50 something Kagool wearers on ITTV and CL who drool all over you, despite your lies, because they haven't had any off their missus for at least 20 years and have bollox that are heavier than a pair of shot putts.
There seems to be a charm offensive going on by Ms Meire, she is a Lawyer and is very astute. She didn't get where she is today by not using all her attributes, looks, sexuality, all round good egg. I am sure she is a lovely person, but she is as slippery as a bag of snot. I still do not trust her or RD but I am torn, because I want to go and support my Club. I think RD is here for the long haul and I can't think of not supporting my Club long term. The question I have asked myself is will not renewing my season ticket make any difference to the way the Club is run? The answer to that question is no. So next season I will turn up and give the players on the pitch my 100 per cent support.
I cannot believe she's only 30, the same age as me. And made it as a lawyer. Bet she had a crappy childhood, devoid of fun.
Don't feel guilty. It is your Club far more than it is the likes of the Belgians, or loud mouth buffoons from North Wales. The test of a true Charlton fan is when you stick with the Club thru 29 years of ****, as opposed to the odd one year of success. Would Meire still "love Charlton" if she was appointed CEO of Champions League club Standard Liege ? Would she bollox.
