Why don't we all call a truce and the players just pass the ball around amongst themselves, we both take a point, nobody gets hurt, and the Bigg Market phone boxes remain intact!

    Plan?

How about the Sunderland players give us 6 goals and sit back for the rest of the game? :D

I didn't see the game at all - were we as bad as the scoreline suggests?

If was just 'one of those days' then I'm glad we got it out of the way... still would have been a worry going in to next week no matter what brave face to put on it, however a couple of Mag mates who were at their game reckon they were pretty dire, at least in the second half, so I doubt either team will be on the crest of a wave.

The next seven days are gonna be brutal!

It doesn't personally bother me at all. It must just get a bit frustrating for everyone else though when a thread gets derailed from its original point from about 3 posts in. I'm sure enough people are sick of the sight of me without whole threads being turned towards me as well.

Anyway, back to the point, it certainly is very interesting that Sunderland go from playing exceptionally well and on-form to basically imploding on the same week that Niall Quinn leaves. It's just such a drastic change you really have to wonder if there's a connection, but I suspect it's probably just a coincidence. I can't see why Quinn leaving would have that kind of effect.

Chappy, all we did today was fall to bits like Newcastle did against the spuds & before anyone comes on to stab me with a dagger, yes I know spuds are better than WBA.

Yeah true. It's just so sudden after literally months of top in-form football. Very odd.

The point is do we have faith in MON to get it right for the next two games? I do.
