Yep, I bumped that thread as Queens requested, not because I thought it would help, but in the obviously vain hope that we could get over this once and for all.

Give it a rest Swords, please. We rank above Denmark on the transparency scale and you are coming across like some eejit conspiracy theorist.

You were right to say that to the Mods but I do feel yourself and Bobby dragged the life out of it before you let it lie. That contributed to a pissed up Queens getting even more paranoid and exploding to pieces in front of our very eyes. I'm not saying either of you meant it but the net result was disastrous and needn't have been. The likes of Queens needs to be handled in a certain way. He wasn't handled correctly at all and its a real shame.

 

You broke your vow of silence to miss the part where I said broach the issue on the thread and to cut out the parts where I said retrospective accusations are too problematic (ie speak up or forever hold your peace) and welcoming the mods to correct me if I'm wrong?

By your interpretation, I should PM the mods saying how you've misrepresented and "ridiculed" my post.

Give it a rest swords. Nobody asked for him to be banned. He did all that by himself! I know you appreciate a drama but the guy was pissed and making references about my daughter. He's a dick will always be a dick. Simple. Glad so glad he is banned. He did that Al by himself just as we all stay or go by choice.

Sorry to see that Queenie has been banned from the Forum. Yes, he has posted some tripe on our (LCFC) board, but has (when sober), posted some decent stuff as well, and we kind of adopted him. He seemed to post some racist stuff on our board when he first came on, but explained that he himself was dark skinned. As QPR and Leicester fans, we have all learned to be able to laugh at ourselves over the years (I am 61, and have the laughter lines to prove it). You have the right to monitor your board the way you feel is right. Good luck for the rest of the season.

 

Swords, Think of how many people don't bother posting anymore: roller, finglas, willy, Staines, Eamon, inky, nuts to name a few. It's not because a few off-topic pages of wind ups have been closed is it.

Would have just been you and queens left putting the world to rights on your own if it had continued - with maybe one in 20 threads about qpr.

I don't have a problem with either of you, but ****ing hell it was like Groundhog Day and very dull with the same arguments every day.

This Board is a constantly regenerating and evolving organism. Old cells die off and new ones grow.

I don't want to sound too benumbed but there is an innate order of natural selection to these Forums. They're totally self regulating.

Absolutely bang on. The board gets filled with abusive and often self indulgent crap that puts people off looking for dare I say I it Qpr related content!
The mods seem to spend a ridiculous amount of time dealing with a very small minority and I really don't envy them. It's a thankless task when they have jobs, social lives and families who can better take their time than policing online squabbles between apparent adults.
