Has Queens been banned?

Swords, think you have mis-read. Beth said Queens emailed her basically retracting his apology. Personally think Queens was a dick and couldn't care less that he's banned.

 

No problem Swordsy, you asked and here is the answer.
We the mods are that kind of a lowlife quisling would do such a backhanded, treacherous, cowardly act on someone who obviously thought they could trust them seeing as they emailed them in the first place?
..He sent that "private" email to the mods.

Thank you for finally closing the proof thread. It had proved its point and some sided with nines whilst others (via pm) didnt, hence the lack of replies.
For the record, i readit as i explained honestly and there was (is) never any doubt in my mind about it after Beth commented...anyway, im side tracking. I did explain to Beth once that there are a lot of pm that go between posters that you apparently dont get to see. This obviously prevents you from seing the who picture of whats going on, on the board and someimes makes your (mods)judgements slightly "strange".
I appologised to Col, not because i believe it but to stop his constant baiting of me, others and you mods. The bumping of the Paris thread was an example. Its the way he opperates and the reason you had to act was because of his constant chipping away.

Happy now Swordsy...The only thing the board has not seen now is the libelous and disgusting post about Nigel Pearson... which I will not put on open thread.

I could ask for an apology for being called a lowlife quisling...but I will let it go and you can buy the three of us a drink if ever we meet....Fair?

Apologies for earlier Chaz. I went a bit OTT mate. It was just an instinctive reaction to my pal getting banned and people saying they were glad he was gone.

In your defence, you've not been on here that long so you wouldn't know what way to take Queens. Bobby and COL should have known better though.

I'd still like to find out what kind of a person would have someone confide in them and then turn around and forward the email to the Mods........remaining anonymous to everyone else of course.

 

Betty I read that like it was a poster that sent you that email, not one of you Mods. I've re-read it again and it can be taken either way. Anyway, I'm glad we haven't a traitor among the Board members. I think Chaz is a good bloke too.

You're blowing that Pearson thing out of proportion though. I defended him on the Leicester Board that time and they accepted his apology afterwards. Don't use that as a stick to beat him with Betty. Someone else posted on here recently that Pearson looked like a *****phile PE teacher and it got a rake of "likes". A simple search will bring you to it.

I can't believe you're only in the job a few weeks and you've already banned someone permanently. Your phucking e-husband no less! I do hope you don't suffer from guilt too easily Betty because that's some dodgy sh*t right there IMO

 

Swords my dear pal. I never had a problem with Queens until he talked about my family and made reference to my daughter. I would have known better up until that point. As for the mods. I couldn't have told you who they were until last week but have the upmost respect for them for banning the cretin. Unfortunately you may have to now wait for another disagreement between posters for your entertainment.

 

Can you not read Swords... Queens sent the email to a mod..you asked us to tell you how we got it... We got it because he sent it to a mod... No one has betrayed him.. he showed considerabl e lack of judgment sending an email that said he didn't mean his apology 're Col..to a mod...

Firstly, let me make it completely clear that I have never asked the mods to ban Queens and indeed, I didn't make any complaint to them concerning Queens openly accusing me of being racist.
I simply asked Queens to either provide proof of my racism or apologise. The "proof" that he finally produced was a joke and clear for everybody to see was not racism of any kind. The subsequent apology was nothing of the sort and wasn't meant sincerely, as pointed out by Queens himself.
After this so called apology, Tramore sent me a PM asking me if I was happy with it. I replied that I'd like to leave things and move on, pointing out that Queens had made himself look pretty daft with the whole sorry saga.

As for Queens saying in his E mail that he only apologised to stop me "baiting" him, this is, without doubt, complete tosh. I simply wanted to be vindicated of the accusation of racism. I have been and that was that as far as I was concerned and never mentioned it again after his "apology" of sorts.

Secondly, it is clear to everyone that the e mail that Queens sent was TO THE MODS. So stop **** stirring!!

 

Sorry Matt. I know I promised not to make any comment on anything you posted, at your request, but that really is ridiculous. The Mods have enough to do without having posters forever sending them PMs every time they're a little concerned about someone else's posts.

 

Either way there's work for them. It seems like there would be less work if people reported posts, because then they are looking at one post, and not seventeen pages of tit for tat abuse.

 

I know you didn't PM the Mods COL, that's not your style to be fair. But you did say out on the Forum a few times "Mods, take whatever action you see fit" or words to that effect in reaction to posts from Queens. You were basically flagging Queens' posts up to them and insinuating they should take punitive measures.

Oh, just one more thing.
It was Queens himself who asked for the Paris thread to be bumped as he claimed that he couldn't find it!!!!
I can't remember who bumped it for him, but it wasn't me. (I think it may have been Stan, but I'm not sure)
So, Queens claiming in that E mail that the bumping of the Paris thread was an example of how I operate was, yet again, more lies and nonsense!!

 

I, like you, enjoyed Queens' past posts, Swords. But the guy came back with a grudge and was making inspecific allegations of racism against certain posters. The whole board was becoming unsettled, and in the end people just have enough and go to another board. The mods would not have taken the decision lightly. Queens brought this on himself, for what reason, God only knows.

 

The fundamental flaws with that system have been gone over again and again. In a nutshell, you could have one or two cranks complaining all the time and having posts removed, threads closed etc even though 98% of the posters never saw a problem with it and didn't complain. So in effect you'd have a tiny minority running the show at the expense of the silent majority. And all of it done anonymously without the massive majority being consulted.

Basically you'd have a whingebag Dictatorship

I said that I'd abide by whatever the mods decided "after Queens had provided examples of my alleged racism". This meant that, if the Mods decided that I WAS racist, they should take whatever action they deemed fit. It of course also meant that I'd abide by any action they took if it was proved that I wasn't racist. This happened and as I've explained, I told Tramore to take no action.
So you're wrong and you should leave this now, as you're clearly just baiting.

I'm sorry I must butt in, what col said was far worse than anything rascist homophobic, knocking the disabled or bringing up family, he called swords Chelsea boy, no need for that, apologise...

 

I've been on many forums where the opposite is true. When the board basically becomes a free for all, run by a handful of outspoken and abusive 'specialists' who know how to stay just the right side of the rules and make life a misery for everyone else. When that happens, pretty soon they are the only people left and the board dies.

Sorry mate, but give me the whingebags any day. If you have decent mods, and decent rules (which this board looks like it has) then the whingers are not given that much attention and soon they either leave or stop. In the end, it's the mods' job to police the board, and our job to give them as little as possible to police.

 

Well that's another way of looking at it. As you say in your third sentence, you did say it. But you're saying it was so the Mods would take whatever measures they saw fit against you as opposed to Queens. I took the opposite from it but perhaps this is the case and I'd definitely take you at your word but for this:

Proving that you weren't racist is another way of saying Queens was a liar and for the Mods to take whatever action they deem necessary. Its all cloaks and daggers but either way you and Bobby could have handled things in a different manner, that's my opinion.

 

You're as bad as Queens. He could have handled things in a different manner too. You prod and probe and continue to bait, completely ignoring facts and examples that are put in front of you. For the LAST TIME: The Mods asked me if I was happy to accept the so called apology and I told them to leave things and move on!!
