I don't want Big names as the manager of our club, I want managers that believe in our philosophy with a range of tactics and game plans against whoever we are playing against. Just go through the names of our recent past managers to see who we have had. Ill start with jackett. He was a number two before he came to us and he done very well and we had Martinez who was at Chester and then we took on Rodgers another who had a short spell at reading and ended up coaching the youth at chelsea, We also had Sousa who was nobody special in the managerial circulate...Who needs these high profile journey men managers when you can find gems like we have had and Graeme Jones fits the bill as the type of manager who will be hungry for success learning off martinez on the type of football we want to get back too...Jenkins will not make the same mistake twice and he is spot on with his choice in graeme as our next manager...

There is nothing in the media about this, I even tried using keywords on Google's News aggregator and nada. Possibly a normal meeting and somebody at the stadium needed attention?

Jones has no experience as a manager, talented a coach he may be but this would be a huge gamble. Worried frankly.

Evening post just twittered that ML's future is not up for debate. Which means it MUST be given the post's factless usual standards of reporting.

This appears to be total rubbish, apparently he is not even in Wales so no emergency meeting with him was possible. The board have said his position hasn't been discussed.

Like I said, someone at the stadium was desperate for attention.

Now Poyet as manager and Jones as his number two would be a great combination <ok>

I would prefer ML and HJ to have their heads banged together and told to sort this mess out <ok> This is a time to pull together not jump ship.

Neither did Martinez...And you can bet he has learned and has more understanding than any of these so called big named managers what Swansea is all about....I can see exactly where jinx is coming from...

I would have thought that there was no truth in this, I don't think our board will debate this issue until after next weeks game, but the article in the Mirror regarding Graeme Jones, does seem to fit in with Jenkins preference, and to be honest after the turbulent season we have had, Jones would be a steady pair of hands, and after all he has been the brains behind Martinez, so he would get us back to what we do well................<ok>

You're joking right! Guaranteed relegation. The guy didn't want it before so he can take a hike IMO. Bad news if ML has gone at this time. WTF do you think a new guy will be able to do at this stage in the season? Nothing, that's what.

So you are willing to accept relegation. I couldn't think of a worse time to do it.

I'd agree with this but again the timing has to be right.

Agreed. Ideally we beat Cardiff at the weekend, Laudrup stays until the end of the season, Sunderland get relegated and we get those two in and Ki recalled to start the re build.

If we don't get a run of wins, that option is on the cards anyway, thats why clubs sack managers, ask Sunderland if they are now happy with Poyet?

I think win lose or draw we should sack laudrup. He is to much of a risk and we need to give the new manager time to fix the crap and install some belief into the players.....I don't have confidence in anyone who cant be bothered to get off his arse during the game when we are in dire need of direction...

Still no one able to say who we are bringing?
If the Graeme Jones theory is a runner then we are talking about a caretaker then?

Sorry but I Think this is being made up as we go along.
