I just find it funny that you back the average CI belief of hardcore fans and that no one should wear replica tops, but here you are glamourising a lad wearing not only a replica top but a full kit!!! I hope the little lad has a great holiday by the way and city put on a better show for him while he's out there.
Tell his mum to contact city and ask if he can be a mascot whilst out there. It is easy and they do like to help. By the way it is a great experience for away games as instead of being part of a group there is generally just one mascot for the away side. My grandson has done it and and he had a brilliant day.
Talking to tommy coyle at a BBQ on Saturday night! And he said joey Barton tweeted him saying " you fought really well but your still a full kit walker "
Oh come on lighten up if I was there I would talk to his mom and dad first of course and introduce meself and ask them if it was ok to buy him an ice cream. I think it's great the little lad is a city fan he is the future of our club FFS, I hope the little rug rat is enjoying himself
He was on Look North last night as well. You seen the pics Lisa put on, the one of him on the team bus with Elmo is excellent
Well you said you would and then you didn't. You get a guy's hopes up like that, then dash them with a frigid attitude. You are maddeningly inconsistent.
Exactly what I was going to type. I hope he's having a fab time. We need more little un's like him passionate about the mighty Tigers.
It has made me think back to being a youngster at the Tigers. Did anybody else ever get the tour of Boothferry Park as a youngster? Think I remember going for my best mate's birthday! I also remember attending the Football in the Community programmes that were run by McDonalds and City. Used to go up to them at South Cave Bully Field, they were great. I remember Roy Carroll turning up to one; I remember him talking to my Dad, as I was the only one who ever voluntarily went in goal! Do they still run programmes like that around the area?
It's fantastic to see kids where City shirts and to be proud of the area they're from. Men wearing full kits, on the other hand, is just wrong. I hope he didn't get too many ice creams or else he'll be sick.
