You're right. We need some players on their way up, hungry for success. Sometimes the players released from Championship clubs etc are ok, but you kind of think that if they were made of the right stuff they would hang on in there and fight for their place. Or they've got some serious injury hanging round their neck, so they never get a decent run of games. We've had quite few of those. The Irish League has proved decent. Michael Smith came from Ballymena.
****ing crap as usual. Rovers love to burst our bubbles in the most extreme ways sometimes. Bunch of overpaid girls. I hope that next season we will lose all of the current strike force we have, and look to sign some pacey strikers who can at least put the ball in the net a couple of times a season FFS! Harrold does need to go IMO... he is not to blame for our results of course, but he does make us very one dimensional. Beardsley whilst doing a decent job, is never going to make us a promotion challanging side, so he needs to go. Clarkson is just not a striker, midfielder or winger....I am not actually sure what he is lol, but he needs to go as he is on big wages and gives next to nothing to our squad on the whole. Kaid Mohamed could be kept as he has pace to burn and at least looks likely when going forwards on occassion. Richards, I am not sure. We could probably get better in all honesty, but at least he actually looks like he could score 10 or more in a season. Santos needs to go, conference at best IMO. Those lot gone will save us at least 10k per week surely?? And of course, Ward himself should move upstairs and let Clark have a go. A young, fresh manager, did well previously, and is obviously keen. Has a good knowledge of non league football, and is perhaps is what we are looking for. Of course it could all backfire as well, but we can't be much worse than we are right now surely!!
