Yes I have one of these. I'm there now.
I don't suppose too many people in UK racing circles have ever heard the name Harry Coffey. And who can be blamed for that? The fact is, Harry is one of those run of the mill, hard working jockeys who battles manfully in that faded light that falls away at the edge of the limelight. Harry has more than just the opposition on the course to vie with though, for he's man who has to do battle on a daily basis with Cystic Fibrosis. Last Saturday in Adelaide, Harry managed to get a horse called Mr Andre over the line in front. He returned to the enclosure coughing blood and was then stood down for the rest of the day. With his medication now adjusted, he today returned to country Victoria to take the mount on Now And Zen over a mile and a half at Mornington. The link is below.
